The Physician’s Perspective
Dr. Keith Meloff, a Toronto neurologist at the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care was one of the first specialists in Ontario to offer clinical appointments via OTN. Since 1998, he has seen approximately 1,700 children and adults with epilepsy, headaches, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, TIA, peripheral neuropathy and other conditions. In his words, “This is a very effective way to deliver specialty care.”
Our Consulting Provider Survey confirms Dr. Meloff’s experience with telemedicine and details the benefits specialist providers have reported. Telemedicine:
