New Video Request Form (8th Dec 2009, 10:34)

OTN has introduced a new Videoconference Request Form (VRF) for Members who require assistance scheduling multipoint education and administrative sessions. Self scheduling is still the preferred option but this new form will provide a consistent mode of submission. To access the form: forms.otn.ca/vrf

OTN Telehomecare Project wins CHIA Award for Innovation (22nd Nov 2009, 20:43)

On November 19, OTN’s Telehomecare Program was the proud recipient of the “Innovation in the Adoption of Health Informatics Award” during the fifth annual Canadian Health Informatics Awards.  The Award is given to “an information technology project that has, through innovation and commitment, been successfully integrated into the health system.”  In nominating the Telehomecare Program, Dr. Lynn Nagle said it deserved the award “in recognition of its positive impact on both health delivery and outcomes and its proven ability to be replicated in other parts of the health system.”  OTN CEO Dr. Ed Brown was on hand to formally receive the award, which he enthusiastically shared with Laurie Poole, VP, Telemedicine Solutions, Kathy Morris, Clinical Educator - Telehomecare and Ron Riesenbach, VP, Emerging Business.  The OTN Telehomecare Phase One Project is now two-for-two this year in award nominations and wins!
